在香港,有兩種容貌焦慮症的主要治療方法,分別是🎤認知行為治療(CBT)和💊藥物治療。
認知行為療法能幫助患者意識到並改變自己對自己外貌的扭曲想法,並發展更健康的應對策略。精神科醫生亦有可能給患者處方選擇性血清素再吸收抑制劑(SSRIs)等藥物治療容貌焦慮症及相關症狀。
Two main types of treatment are available in Hong Kong for patients with BDD, namely 🎤cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and 💊medication. CBT helps individuals challenge and modify distorted beliefs about their appearance and develop healthier coping strategies. Medication like Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) are commonly prescribed by psychiatrists to treat BDD and related symptoms.
🌈 援助途徑 Access to help
政府為有容貌焦慮或行為的人士提供三個主要援助途徑。
🏥首先,他們可以先造訪家庭醫生、門診部或急診室,然後轉介至精神科醫生或其他心理健康工作者。較輕微的案例可能會被轉介至綜合心理健康計劃(IMHP),任何區域的家庭醫療診所都會有家庭醫生和社工提供服務。只有醫生(通常是精神科醫生)才能處方藥物治療容貌焦慮症,而認知行為療法則可以由任何接受合資格的心理健康工作者提供。
🗨️其次,個人可以從社會福利署接受臨床心理服務,方法是通過社會福利署下屬的任何服務單位(例如綜合家庭服務中心、社工、 24小時熱線:2343 2255)獲得轉介。
🏫第三個途徑是通過自行或社工轉介,參與由本港非政府組織營運的精神健康綜合社區中心。
公營心理健康服務通常免費或價格相宜,但非緊急情況下的排期時間往往很長。因此,患者亦可以尋求私營的精神科醫生(名單)、臨床心理學家或心理輔導員 (名單,留意資歷是否有效)。私營服務等候時間較短,但價格也可以很昂貴。
📱最後,香港有數條心理健康的支援熱線,例如政府最近推出了「情緒通」18111熱線,每日24小時一站式提供即時的精神健康支援及轉介服務。醫院管理局提供24小時精神健康直線:2466 7350,由當值精神科護士提供援助。其他熱線詳列在:緊急求助熱線 - 陪我講 Shall We Talk、立即尋求幫助 - Mind HK。

The government provides assistance to individuals with symptoms or behavior of BDD in three main pathways.
🏥Firstly, they can first visit their family doctor, general out-patient clinic (GOPC), or A&E to request a referral to a psychiatrist or other mental health workers. Milder cases might be referred to the Integrated Mental Health Programme (IMHP), where family doctors and social workers provide services within family medicine clinics available in all districts. Only doctors, usually psychiatrists, can prescribe medications to treat BDD, while CBT can be provided by any well-trained mental health workers.
🗨️Secondly, individuals can seek clinical psychological services from the Social Welfare Department (SWD) by receiving a referral from any service unit under SWD (e.g. Integrated Family Service Centre (IFSC), social workers, SWD 24-hour hotline: 2343 2255).
🏫The third pathway is through attending local Integrated Community Centre for Mental Wellness (ICCMW), by self-referral or referral by social workers. They are run by non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
While mental health service in the public sector is free or low-cost, the waiting time is very long for non-emergency cases. Individuals can also seek help from private psychiatrists (List), clinical psychologists or counsellors (List, check qualifications first) with less waiting time, but it can be very expensive.
📱Last but not least, there are hotlines that individuals can call for mental health support, such as the 18111 Mental Health Support Hotline recently established to provide immediate mental health support and referral services, Hospital Authority’s Mental Health Direct hotline (24-hours): 2466 7350, which is supported by psychiatric nurses.
